Road trip season is here!

Every summer, my husband, the pups, and I hit the road in our RV to spend time with family & friends around the country. It's one of our favorite traditions. Because of that, Julee E will be taking its annual summer break and the shop will be closed until around August 20.

The dogs are looking forward to new adventures, judging strangers from the RV windows, and barking at things in every state, city & campground . . . while I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends, making new memories.

Thank you for supporting my small business and giving me the opportunity to step away from the sewing machine for a little while. Not to worry . . . this break always stirs up my creativity, and I'll be back before you know it!

See you in August! ❤️ Julee E

I now offer multiple methods of payment including credit/debit cards, Amazon Cash, PayPal, Cash App, and Buy Now Pay Later (in 4 payments with no interest) through Klarna. 🤗

So … Let’s Talk About “Just Posting Something”

Okay … picking up from where we left off.

You see that she posted a picture and you think, 'Oh, that's so cute'.

Simple. Quick. No biggee ... to you.

I wish it were that easy. Slap some syrup on a…

I used to think (or maybe just quietly hope) that once my shop was set up… that would be the hardest part. You know… the whole get the site built, upload the photos, write the descriptions, hit publish … and then sit back and wait for customers to be clamoring to buy stuff from me. Okay, so that's dramatic, but you get the point.

Spoiler alert: That didn't happen ... and I know…

Starting a website from scratch sounds exciting… until I’m going cross-eyed staring at settings, checkout glitches, photo uploads, and wondering why a button refuses to behave like a freaking website button should.

A huge shoutout to the very patient customer who stuck with me for five days while I kept saying, “I swear it’s fixed this time…” 😅 …and also, “Let me fix this real quick…” (it was never real quick).

Some days, being a small business owner feels like standing in the middle of a creative tornado.

Do I make a bag? Tweak the website? Finally figure out Instagram and Pinterest? Enter receipts like a responsible adult?

Or… do I go eat chocolate and stare into the void for a minute?

The truth is, there’s always…

It might take me a minute, but I am trying to get my shop setup on a new platform, because sadly the one I was on is going out of business.

So, wish me luck, and hopefully I'll be back up and running very shortly.

Make it a great day!

With love,
