This is not "The Reality of Getting Seen Online [Part IV]" ... because that will come next week!
When I ended Part III, I promised I would talk next about the moment when you realize that keeping a small business visible isn’t a one-time job.
But . . . . . . then summer arrived. I closed the shop, packed up the RV, gathered the dogs, and took my annual summer holiday. Yay me! We did the usual much-needed trip up to Kentucky to see all of our kids, grandkids, friends and family . . . which is always so fulfilling . . . and then we spent a week up in Door County Wisconsin with a friend, enjoying the beauty of the outdoors that Wisconsin has to offer.
Now I’m back . . . . . the website is open again, and strangely enough, that little break leads perfectly into what I wanted to talk about next in The Reality of Getting Seen Online [Part IV].
Getting back in the workroom and reopening the website doesn’t mean simply flipping the imaginary OPEN sign back on and waiting for everyone to notice.
Nope.
It means it’s time to start showing up all over again. Every.Single.Day.
And that’s exactly what we’ll talk about in the next post . . . coming next week.
